Kelva is a trading name of PrestonTrade Ltd ("Kelva", "we", "us", "our"). Kelva is a home wellbeing service for adults who want to stay independent at home. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers our website, www.kelva.co.uk, and enquiries you make to us. The website does not hold or show any client wellbeing information.

If you are a Kelva client, the information from your home and the Kelva app is covered by a separate privacy notice, which we give you when you join and which is available in the app.

3. What information we collect

Contact details: your name, email address, phone number and postcode, when you fill in a form on the website or email us

Your enquiry: anything you tell us in your message or when we arrange a home assessment

Communications: our emails and messages with you

Website usage: limited technical information collected through cookies — see our Cookie Policy

4. Why we use your information (lawful basis)

To reply to your enquiry and arrange a free home assessment. Lawful basis: steps taken at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering you.

To keep our website secure and working, and to improve it. Lawful basis: legitimate interests, and your consent for analytics cookies.

To send you marketing, only where you have opted in. Lawful basis: consent. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

To comply with the law. Lawful basis: legal obligation.

5. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

Hostinger, which hosts our website and its contact forms, and our email provider — both act only on our instructions

Legal and regulatory authorities, where the law requires it

6. Where your information is stored

Our service providers may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or on safeguards approved under UK law, so that your information stays protected.

7. How long we keep your information

Enquiries: kept for 12 months after our last contact with you, then deleted

If you become a client: your details are kept as described in the privacy notice for the Kelva service
